Maqaam - Inclusive Employment Program for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs)

Maqaam is an inclusive employment program by JazzWorld designed to provide a pathway to permanent employment for persons with disabilities (PWDs). This 12-month initiative focuses on onboarding, skill matching, mentorship, and performance reviews, offering conversion opportunities for high performers. The role is an early-career position supporting day-to-day operational and functional activities within assigned teams across multiple divisions, located in Islamabad, Lahore, and Karachi. Candidates will work under the guidance of a line manager or designated team member while progressing through the Maqaam development journey.

Key Responsibilities

- Take full ownership of assigned operational and administrative tasks, ensuring they are completed end-to-end while meeting established quality standards and deadlines.
- Maintain accurate and audit-ready records, trackers, and reports to provide the team with a reliable source of truth.
- Collect, organize, and perform basic analysis on data to support informed decision-making and recommendations.
- Independently manage routine queries and requests, escalating complex or high-risk issues to the line manager as appropriate.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across teams and functions to gather inputs, resolve blockers, and ensure timely delivery of tasks.
- Identify recurring issues and propose practical solutions rather than merely reporting problems.
- Actively participate in onboarding, mentorship sessions, and quarterly reviews to develop skills aimed at securing a permanent role.
- Support diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives and model inclusive work practices for others to emulate.
- Adhere to company policies, confidentiality requirements, and health and safety standards in all activities.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution.
- 1-2 years of relevant professional experience post-graduation.
- Basic understanding of workplace processes with the ability to follow established procedures.
- Strong communication skills, including spoken, written, or alternative methods such as sign language or assistive technologies.
- Proficiency in standard productivity tools, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative, adaptable mindset.
- Openness to learning, accepting feedback, and adjusting to changing priorities.
