We are seeking a detail-oriented Market Research Associate to join our team in Gulberg, Lahore. This role offers a hybrid work model, with two days onsite and three days remote. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, particularly related to the power and energy sector, and possess excellent analytical and communication skills. This position is suited for recent graduates or those with up to one year of professional experience who are eager to develop their expertise in market research and data analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect market data from publicly available sources such as annual reports, investor presentations, and regulatory filings.
- Develop and maintain extensive datasets using Microsoft Excel, employing pivot tables, lookups, and formulas to ensure data accuracy and usability.
- Analyze data to identify trends and patterns that can inform strategic decisions.
- Prepare polished and precise outputs in PowerPoint and Excel, including clean tables, charts, and infographics to effectively communicate findings.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering is mandatory.
- 0 to 1 year of relevant professional experience.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with an emphasis on accuracy and presentation quality.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
- Final year academic project must be focused on the power and energy sector; alternatively, completion of an internship in this field is required.
