The Maintenance Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the timely delivery of equipment to meet operational demands. This position focuses on enhancing the maintenance efficiency and productivity of the Division’s assets within the Maintenance Base (MB). The technician is responsible for reducing nonproductive maintenance time and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to optimize asset turnaround and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain assigned equipment in accordance with the relevant maintenance programs and the reliability-centered maintenance strategy. This includes strict adherence to the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and established standard work procedures.
- Follow transactional discipline within Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM) business systems by accurately recording materials, supplies, labor costs, and equipment maintenance history, including movements, work orders, parts usage, and maintenance time.
- Ensure full compliance with Division TLM standards to maintain consistency and quality across maintenance operations.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement efforts aimed at reducing asset downtime caused by maintenance delays, parts availability, return authorization processes, failures, and work-in-process.
- Engage in failure investigations as assigned to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Comply with the TLM Competency Management System to maintain and enhance technical skills and certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience troubleshooting and maintaining a wide range of equipment, including Injectors, Stimulation units, Coil tubing, Pumps, Motors, Cylinders, and various models such as HR-480, HR-560, HR-580, HR-6100, and HR-6140.
- Hands-on knowledge of NPS and NPF units including NPF-374, NPS-343, NPS-142, Boost pumps, SPF-743, SPF-343, SPF-243, MPF-342, and MPF-331.
- Experience working with Caterpillar engines, specifically CAT 3512C, CAT C-10, CAT C-15, and CAT 3176.
- Familiarity with Pod blender and Super Pod systems such as SBF-624, Sand Chief, C-Pump (10x12), and LAS (Liquid Additive System).
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant maintenance experience in a similar industrial or operational environment.
