Mechanical Design Engineer

A leading Automotive and Industrial Manufacturing company is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer for their plant located in Hub, Baluchistan. Candidates residing nearby will be given preference. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of practical experience in design, development, and export-related projects within the automotive sector, specifically involving sheet metal and die casting components. This role requires strong expertise in CAD design, prototype development, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and manufacturability.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage CAD design projects throughout the entire design and development lifecycle.
- Review and validate 3D models, engineering drawings, and assess production feasibility to maintain accuracy and quality standards.
- Assist in tooling design, prototype construction, and performance evaluation activities.
- Develop detailed 3D CAD models, assembly configurations, and technical drawings.
- Work closely with CNC machining, tooling, and die-casting teams during new product development phases.
- Conduct Design for Manufacturability (DFM) evaluations for die-casting and sheet metal parts.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation including setup sheets, inspection reports, and process procedures.
- Monitor project timelines and milestones to ensure on-time delivery.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial & Manufacturing Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or Mechatronics.
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in design and development within the automotive sector, with a focus on sheet metal and die casting projects.
