Mechanical Draftsman

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Draftsman to join our team in Gulberg, Lahore. This full-time position is ideal for fresh candidates or those with up to two years of relevant experience. The successful candidate will hold a Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Mechanical Engineering and possess a basic to good working knowledge of mechanical design software. The role involves preparing and modifying 2D drawings, creating 3D models, working on mechanical assemblies, and assisting in prototype development. Candidates should be eager to learn, attentive to detail, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively within an engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and modify 2D mechanical drawings using CAD software.
- Create and edit 3D mechanical models in accordance with design specifications.
- Develop mechanical assemblies using design software tools.
- Assist in prototype modeling and development within CAD environments.
- Demonstrate proficiency with mechanical design software commands, tools, and features.
- Interpret technical drawings and adhere to engineering specifications.
- Make drawing revisions and design modifications as required.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation and drawings.
- Coordinate effectively with the engineering team to support various mechanical design activities.

Required Qualifications

- Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Mechanical Engineering.
- Fresh candidates or those with up to two years of relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
- Basic to good working knowledge of mechanical design software, including CAD tools.
- Understanding of 2D drafting and 3D modeling principles.
- Familiarity with mechanical assemblies and prototype modeling processes.

Additional Information

- Location: Gulberg, Lahore
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 AM to 06:00 PM
- Interview Process: On-site, in-person interview; physical presence at the interview is mandatory.
- Compensation: Monthly salary ranging from Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 60,000
- Work Environment: This is an in-person role requiring attendance at the designated office location.
