SG Allied Businesses Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to independently manage mechanical, electrical, fabrication, installation, and maintenance tasks at our industrial and agricultural facilities located in Karachi. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on problem solver with the ability to supervise technicians while actively participating in technical work as needed. This role demands a practical approach to troubleshooting and project execution, ensuring smooth operations and timely completion of all assigned tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform fabrication work involving steel structures, frames, racks, piping, and machinery components.
- Supervise and execute welding, cutting, drilling, grinding, and metal fabrication activities.
- Conduct mechanical installation, repair, and preventive maintenance of machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults related to motors, pumps, control panels, wiring, and other industrial equipment.
- Install and modify mechanical and electrical systems to meet operational requirements.
- Oversee workshop operations, including managing technicians, electricians, welders, and external contractors.
- Develop practical and cost-effective solutions for equipment modifications and new project implementations.
- Ensure all technical work is completed efficiently and within set deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 8 to 10 years of hands-on experience in mechanical, electrical, and fabrication work.
- Strong expertise in welding, metal fabrication, machinery installation, and maintenance.
- Proficient in diagnosing and resolving faults in industrial electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and independently carry out projects.
- Experience in managing workshop personnel and coordinating with contractors.
- Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Technology is preferred; however, extensive practical experience will be equally valued.
- Demonstrated responsibility, resourcefulness, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
