We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer with over two years of experience to join our team in DHA-3, Lahore. The successful candidate will play a vital role in designing, developing, and validating mechanical systems and components. This position requires creating detailed 3D models and technical drawings, conducting engineering analyses, and supporting prototyping and testing to ensure product reliability and performance. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive projects from concept through to manufacturing, while adhering to quality standards, cost constraints, and project deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop mechanical systems and components to meet project requirements.
- Create detailed 3D models and engineering drawings using CAD software such as SolidWorks, CATIA, or AutoCAD.
- Perform structural and thermal analyses using finite element analysis (FEA) techniques.
- Manage prototyping, testing, and design validation activities to ensure product functionality.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to transition projects from concept to manufacturing.
- Select appropriate materials and manufacturing processes based on design needs.
- Apply design for manufacturability (DFM) principles to optimize production efficiency.
- Maintain accurate product lifecycle management (PLM) documentation throughout the development process.
- Ensure all designs comply with quality standards, cost targets, and project timelines.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in mechanical design and product development.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, CATIA, or AutoCAD.
- Experience with structural and thermal analysis methods.
- Strong understanding of design for manufacturability (DFM) and product lifecycle management (PLM) principles.
- Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes.
