Mechanical Supervisor

A.G.E Industries (Pvt.) Ltd., a leading manufacturer located in Hayatabad Industrial Estate, Peshawar, is seeking a skilled Mechanical Supervisor to oversee and manage mechanical maintenance activities within the factory. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of all factory machinery and equipment, contributing to the overall efficiency and safety of the production environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily mechanical maintenance tasks for all factory machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Operate, oversee, and maintain various workshop machines including Lathe, Shaper, Milling, and Drilling machines.
- Plan and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
- Manage the availability and proper use of spare parts, tools, and maintenance materials, ensuring resources are well-organized and accessible.
- Conduct regular inspections of critical components such as motors, gearboxes, bearings, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations, maintenance standard operating procedures (SOPs), and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.

Required Qualifications
- Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in industrial maintenance, preferably within a manufacturing or production setting.
- Strong knowledge of industrial mechanical systems and the ability to troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues effectively.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and AutoCAD or other relevant software tools is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team, with strong organizational and communication skills.
