The Mechatronics Engineer will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and integrating mechanical, electronic, and control systems for a variety of products such as UAVs, IoT devices, and automation solutions. This full-time, on-site position based in Islamabad requires close collaboration with cross-functional R&D and product teams. Daily responsibilities include creating and reviewing CAD models, selecting and integrating sensors and actuators, developing control algorithms, and working alongside software and hardware engineers to ensure smooth system performance. The role also involves prototyping, testing, troubleshooting, optimizing mechatronic systems, preparing technical documentation, and supporting deployment in real-world environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop mechanical, electronic, and control system components for UAVs, IoT devices, and automation products.
- Create, review, and refine CAD models for assemblies, enclosures, and structural parts.
- Select and integrate appropriate sensors, actuators, and communication modules into embedded systems.
- Develop and tune control algorithms for motion control, stability, and feedback loops.
- Collaborate closely with software and hardware teams to ensure seamless integration and system performance.
- Conduct hands-on prototyping, bench testing, fault diagnosis, and performance optimization of mechatronic systems.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation and support product deployment in operational environments.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechatronics Engineering or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
- Strong foundation in mechatronics, mechanical, electrical, or electronics engineering with experience integrating mechanical and electronic subsystems.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD for mechanical design and assemblies.
- Experience with embedded systems, microcontrollers, and PCB-level hardware integration involving sensors, actuators, and communication modules.
- Knowledge of control systems, robotics, or automation, including the development and tuning of control algorithms.
- Familiarity with programming languages commonly used in embedded and control applications, including C/C++, Python, and MATLAB/Simulink.
- Understanding of UAVs, IoT devices, or industrial automation systems, including relevant safety standards and testing protocols.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to document work clearly and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
