Medical Biller

Interpulse Global is an expanding medical billing company dedicated to helping healthcare providers across the U.S. optimize their revenue and streamline billing operations. We are currently building a focused team and seeking detail-oriented professionals to join us. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the entire billing cycle, from claim submission through payment posting, ensuring accuracy and timely follow-up to maximize reimbursements.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and electronically submit clean claims to insurance payers.
- Accurately enter patient demographics, insurance information, and charges.
- Post payments, adjustments, and denials in the billing system.
- Follow up on unpaid and denied claims with insurance companies to ensure timely resolution.
- Review claim rejections, correct errors, and resubmit claims promptly.
- Monitor accounts receivable (A/R) aging reports and work to reduce outstanding balances.
- Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits before claim submission.
- Maintain strict patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Consistently meet daily and weekly productivity and accuracy goals.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of one year of hands-on experience in medical billing, preferably within the U.S. healthcare system.
- Strong knowledge of the revenue cycle, including CMS-1500 and UB-04 claim forms, as well as Explanation of Benefits (EOB) and Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA) processing.
- Familiarity with billing software or clearinghouses such as Kareo, AdvancedMD, Athenahealth, or Availity is advantageous.
- Good understanding of various insurance types, including Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively.
