Medical Billing - VOB Specialist

Meds Nexus Pvt. Ltd., a growing healthcare services company based in Rawalpindi, is seeking a detail-oriented Medical Billing - Verification of Benefits (VOB) Specialist to join their team. This on-site role operates during night shifts from 5:30 PM to 2:30 AM, Monday through Friday. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth claim processing for U.S. healthcare providers by accurately verifying insurance benefits and eligibility prior to patient visits. Strong communication skills and a commitment to maintaining data privacy are essential to succeed in this position.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough pre-visit benefit and eligibility verifications by liaising directly with U.S. insurance carriers.
- Monitor daily verification schedules closely to avoid claim denials and prevent scheduling delays.
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of calls, including notes on any corrective actions taken.
- Update client Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) portals promptly with verified coverage information and status updates.
- Adhere strictly to corporate policies regarding data protection and patient privacy at all times.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience specializing in Verification of Benefits within medical billing environments.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. healthcare revenue cycle management and insurance verification processes.
- Highly organized with a keen eye for detail, capable of meeting demanding production and quality standards.
- Excellent English communication skills, with clear and neutral accent articulation suitable for professional interactions.
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or institution.
