Medical Coder

Sequel Technologies, a leading software company specializing in healthcare IT and medical billing services for the US market, is seeking an experienced Medical Coder to join their team based in Bahria Town Phase 7, Rawalpindi. Preference will be given to candidates residing in Bahria, DHA, or nearby areas. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical coding, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work with various coding software and electronic health records (EHR) systems. This role requires adherence to government and insurance regulations to ensure accurate and compliant coding and documentation.

Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate proven work experience as a Medical Coder or in a similar role.
- Ensure that medical codes are sequenced correctly in compliance with government and insurance regulations.
- Accurately file and process medical records to maintain organized and up-to-date documentation.
- Analyze medical records thoroughly to identify any deficiencies in documentation.
- Identify diagnostic and procedural information from medical records for accurate coding.
- Utilize coding software efficiently to support coding activities and maintain accuracy.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a Medical Coder.
- Degree in PharmD, BSN, DPT, or related medical health sciences fields.
- Certified Professional Coder credential is mandatory.
- Hands-on experience with multiple Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Proficiency in using various coding software such as Codify, 3M, or similar platforms.
- Comprehensive knowledge of multiple medical specialties to ensure accurate coding across different fields.

Candidates residing in Bahria Town, DHA, or nearby areas will be preferred to facilitate timely attendance and coordination. The position offers flexible working hours with shifts from 5:00 PM to 2:00 AM during summers and 6:00 PM to 3:00 AM during winters.
