Hasan Suleman Memorial Hospital (HSMH), a 312-bed facility currently under development in Malir, Karachi, is set to open in December 2026. Committed to delivering safe, high-quality, accessible, and patient-centered healthcare services, HSMH is seeking a qualified and dedicated Medical Officer specializing in Emergency Medicine. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing timely medical assessment, emergency treatment, and stabilization of patients in a dynamic and fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Assess, triage, and manage patients presenting with medical and surgical emergencies.
- Provide immediate medical intervention, stabilization, and resuscitation as required.
- Recognize and manage critical conditions, trauma cases, and life-threatening emergencies.
- Coordinate with consultants and relevant hospital departments to ensure timely patient care and referrals.
- Monitor patient conditions continuously and ensure appropriate treatment and follow-up care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, emergency notes, and clinical documentation.
- Adhere to emergency protocols, infection prevention measures, and patient safety standards.
- Participate actively in clinical handovers, emergency drills, and quality improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications
- MBBS degree from a recognized medical institution.
- Valid PMDC registration is mandatory.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant clinical experience in a hospital setting, specifically within the Emergency Department.

Preferred Qualifications
- Additional training or certification in Emergency Medicine, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), or Basic Life Support (BLS) will be highly regarded.
- Experience in trauma care or acute patient management is preferred.
- FCPS training or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Emergency Medicine is an advantage.

Additional Information
- The position requires full-time, in-person attendance at the hospital located at Plot #89, Deh Khanto, Taluka Ibrahim Hyderi, District Malir, Karachi.
- Candidates should be able to commute independently to the workplace.
