This role involves providing timely and effective emergency care to patients by conducting thorough primary and secondary assessments and delivering immediate management in critical situations. The candidate will be responsible for adhering to the established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) of the Indus Hospital Accident & Emergency (A&E) department, ensuring high standards in patient care and medication management. Accurate documentation of patient medical information and maintaining a professional, compassionate approach towards patients are essential aspects of this position. The role also requires proper handling of patients at the end of each shift and compliance with the hospital’s dress code and clinical protocols.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct timely primary and secondary assessments to manage emergency patients effectively, including critical and immediate interventions.
- Implement and follow Indus Hospital A&E department SOPs related to patient care and drug administration.
- Ensure all work procedures and technical specifications are performed in accordance with clinical SOPs.
- Provide medical support to facilitate rapid and efficient patient management.
- Maintain accurate and complete documentation of patient medical information.
- Ensure proper care and handling of patients at the conclusion of each shift.
- Uphold a professional and courteous doctor-patient relationship to fully understand and address patient concerns.
- Adhere to the hospital’s dress code and other human resource policies.

Required Qualifications

- Proven experience in emergency patient management, including primary and secondary assessments.
- Strong knowledge of clinical SOPs and drug management within an emergency care setting.
- Ability to maintain detailed and accurate medical documentation.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to maintain a professional and empathetic approach with patients.
- Commitment to following hospital protocols and maintaining a professional appearance.
