Medical Officer Medicine

Naeem Hospital, Lahore is seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Officer specializing in Medicine to join its healthcare team. The successful candidate will possess strong clinical knowledge and practical experience in patient management, with the ability to independently handle a variety of medical cases. This full-time position requires a minimum of three years of relevant clinical experience and offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic hospital environment, providing care across outpatient, emergency, and inpatient departments.

Key Responsibilities

- Assess, diagnose, and manage patients in outpatient (OPD), emergency, and inpatient settings.
- Take detailed patient histories and conduct thorough clinical examinations.
- Manage common medical and emergency cases efficiently and effectively.
- Monitor patient progress and evaluate their response to prescribed treatments.
- Review and interpret laboratory and diagnostic test results to guide patient care.
- Assist consultants during patient rounds and clinical procedures to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and treatment documentation.
- Respond promptly and effectively to medical emergencies as they arise.
- Collaborate closely with consultants, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Adhere strictly to hospital protocols, infection control standards, and patient safety procedures at all times.

Required Qualifications

- MBBS degree from a recognized medical institution.
- Valid PMDC registration/license to practice medicine.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant clinical experience as a Medical Officer.
- Strong clinical assessment and patient management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to interact effectively with patients and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work in shifts and manage emergency situations calmly and efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

Candidates with more than three years of hands-on experience in Medicine, Emergency, and Inpatient care will be highly preferred. Additionally, those holding a Postgraduate Residency (PGR) in Medicine will have an advantage due to the specialized clinical expertise this qualification provides.
