Takmeel Square (Pvt.) Ltd., located in DHA Bahawalpur, is looking for an experienced MEP Draftsman to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in multidisciplinary coordination and be proficient in preparing detailed mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and firefighting drawings for commercial construction projects. This role requires a minimum of six years of relevant MEP drafting experience and advanced skills in AutoCAD. The position offers a competitive salary range of PKR 90,000 to 110,000 per month, which is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities
The MEP Draftsman will be responsible for preparing accurate and coordinated MEP working drawings, incorporating design revisions as necessary. The role involves identifying and resolving conflicts between building services and structural elements, ensuring seamless integration of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and firefighting systems. Close collaboration with engineers, architects, and site teams is essential to address coordination issues effectively. Additionally, the candidate must be adept at producing coordinated service layouts for challenging areas such as ceilings, shafts, and other congested building zones.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must have at least six years of hands-on experience in MEP drafting, with a proven track record of producing detailed HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting layouts. Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory. It is important to note that architectural drafting experience alone, without demonstrable MEP drafting and coordination expertise, does not meet the technical requirements for this position.
Preferred Qualifications and Application Process
Applicants are required to submit an updated CV along with two samples of non-confidential or redacted MEP drawings they have personally prepared. Additionally, details of relevant building projects and a brief description of a coordination issue they successfully resolved should be included. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to complete a practical assessment focused on MEP drawing and coordination skills.
