We are seeking a skilled Draftsman with extensive experience in AutoCAD and HVAC drafting to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in preparing detailed HVAC layouts, ductwork and piping drawings, as well as shop/coordination and as-built drawings. A solid understanding of site execution and HVAC systems is essential to ensure accuracy and efficiency in project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and prepare HVAC layouts, ductwork, and piping drawings using AutoCAD.
- Create detailed shop and coordination drawings to support project requirements.
- Produce accurate as-built drawings reflecting modifications made during site execution.
- Collaborate closely with site engineers and project managers to ensure drawings meet project specifications and standards.
- Review and update drawings based on feedback from site inspections and project changes.
- Maintain organized documentation of all drawings and revisions for easy reference and compliance.
- Support the HVAC installation team by providing clear and precise technical drawings to facilitate smooth execution.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Draftsman specializing in HVAC systems.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD software, with a focus on HVAC drafting.
- In-depth knowledge of HVAC layouts, ductwork, piping, and related systems.
- Familiarity with preparing shop, coordination, and as-built drawings.
- Good understanding of site execution processes and HVAC system installation.
- Attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and high-quality drawings.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with project teams.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience working on large-scale HVAC projects will be an advantage.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and engineering drawings.
- Salary range is competitive, between 50,000 to 80,000, commensurate with experience.
