MEP Engineer – U.S. Construction Projects

Brookfield Design & Estimating Services is seeking a skilled MEP Engineer to join their team for U.S.-based construction projects. This full-time, on-site position is located at Broadway Commercial, DHA Phase 8, Lahore, Pakistan, and requires working the night shift from 6:00 PM to 3:00 AM to align with U.S. business hours. The role involves supporting mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design, coordination, and technical documentation, ensuring compliance with U.S. building codes and standards. Candidates should have hands-on experience with Revit MEP and AutoCAD, as well as the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary MEP systems effectively.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, review, and coordinate mechanical, electrical, and plumbing drawings specifically for U.S. construction projects.
- Prepare and update MEP layouts, technical drawings, and construction documentation with precision.
- Utilize Revit MEP and AutoCAD software to create accurate drawings and 3D models.
- Coordinate MEP systems in conjunction with architectural and structural plans to ensure seamless integration.
- Identify and resolve design clashes and coordination issues proactively.
- Apply relevant U.S. codes and standards such as IMC, IPC, NEC, and NFPA throughout the project lifecycle.
- Review drawings for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with project requirements.
- Collaborate closely with project teams to meet deadlines and uphold quality standards.

Required Qualifications
- Proven experience working on MEP construction projects based in the United States.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Proficiency in Revit MEP and AutoCAD software.
- Knowledge of BIM coordination and multidisciplinary drawing coordination processes.
- Familiarity with U.S. building codes and standards including IMC, IPC, NEC, and NFPA.
- Excellent analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Willingness and ability to work the designated night shift.
