MEP Engineer

We are seeking a skilled MEP Engineer to oversee the installation, testing, and handover of building services within various projects. This position is primarily based in Islamabad, with potential site assignments across Pakistan as required. The role may also involve supporting projects within the Capital Group companies, ensuring seamless execution of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the installation of fire fighting, fire alarm, lifts, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Review shop drawings and material submittals to confirm accuracy and suitability for project requirements.
- Supervise MEP subcontractors and site teams, maintaining quality standards and adherence to timelines.
- Conduct testing and commissioning activities, preparing comprehensive handover documentation for completed systems.
- Coordinate MEP works with civil contractors and project consultants to facilitate smooth integration and project progress.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Registration with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) is mandatory.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant MEP experience on building projects.
- Practical, hands-on experience with fire fighting systems, fire alarms, and lifts installation and maintenance.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Knowledge of NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) codes is considered an advantage.
- Competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs70,000 to Rs120,000.
- Work location is primarily on-site, requiring physical presence to effectively manage project activities.
