We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Merchandiser to join our Apparel and Boxing Gloves manufacturing division based in Sialkot. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the entire order process, from initial inquiry through to shipment, while maintaining effective communication with international buyers. This role involves close coordination with production, planning, and supply chain teams to ensure timely execution and high-quality delivery. The Merchandiser will also handle product development activities, costing, quotations, and maintain comprehensive records to support smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage complete order execution, including inquiries, quotations, order confirmations, and shipment follow-up.
- Liaise with international buyers to ensure clear communication and address client requirements.
- Prepare accurate costing and quotations aligned with buyer specifications.
- Coordinate with production, PPC (Production Planning and Control), and supply chain teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Monitor sampling processes, obtain necessary approvals, and track production status regularly.
- Ensure on-time delivery while maintaining high customer satisfaction levels.
- Maintain detailed order records, reports, and documentation for internal and client use.
- Oversee quality control measures to meet buyer specifications and industry standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in Business Administration (BBA/MBA) or Textile-related fields.
- 3 to 6 years of relevant experience in the Apparel, Gloves, or Sports Goods industry.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills to effectively interact with clients and internal teams.
- Solid understanding of merchandising principles, costing, and order management processes.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, with advanced skills in Excel.
