The MERN Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js. This full-time, on-site position based in Lahore requires active participation in team meetings, code reviews, and project planning. The role involves implementing new features, optimizing existing code, integrating APIs, managing databases, and ensuring responsive and user-friendly interfaces. Collaboration with designers, product owners, and fellow developers is essential to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions. Writing clean, testable code and troubleshooting issues across the stack are key daily activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js).
- Implement new features and optimize existing code for performance and scalability.
- Integrate third-party APIs and manage database operations effectively.
- Ensure responsive, intuitive, and user-friendly front-end interfaces.
- Collaborate closely with designers, product owners, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the full technology stack.
- Participate actively in team meetings, code reviews, and project planning sessions.

Required Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in MERN stack development, including MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js.
- Solid experience with front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and responsive UI frameworks.
- Knowledge of backend development concepts including authentication, authorization, database design, and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Understanding of software development best practices, including testing, debugging, and deployment processes.
- Ability to analyze technical requirements, conduct research, and propose effective solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a cross-functional team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Willingness to work on-site in Lahore and adapt to a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
