MERN Stack Engineer L4

We are looking for a motivated and skilled Node.js and React developer to join our team based in Lahore. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full development lifecycle, including designing, building, deploying, and maintaining web applications. This role requires hands-on experience with modern web technologies and a collaborative mindset to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using the MERN/PERN stack, including Postgres, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js.
- Integrate and manage SQL databases such as Postgres.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.
- Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and fellow developers to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Build and integrate reusable components to enhance application scalability.
- Implement robust testing strategies to ensure application reliability.
- Contribute to deployment processes and CI/CD pipelines, with experience preferred.
- Stay current with emerging web development trends and technologies to continuously improve the product.

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Full Stack Developer.
- Strong proficiency in front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Expertise in backend development using Node.js and Express.js.
- Solid experience with React.js and related libraries such as Redux, React Router, and Next.js.
- Familiarity with databases, particularly MongoDB and/or Postgres.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.
- Knowledge of maps and algorithms, including tools like Google Maps, Leaflet, and spatial data structures.
- Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts and large language models (LLMs).
- Passion for creating elegant, user-friendly interfaces.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is a plus.

This is a full-time, in-person position based in Lahore. The starting salary is from Rs150,000 per month.
