We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Power Apps Developer with 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, implementing, and supporting business applications using the Microsoft Power Platform. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Power BI, and Microsoft 365. This role requires the ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable, user-friendly, and secure low-code solutions that drive operational efficiency and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain business applications using Microsoft Power Apps, including both Canvas and Model-Driven Apps.
- Create automated business workflows and approval processes leveraging Power Automate.
- Design and manage data models, tables, relationships, security roles, and business rules within Microsoft Dataverse.
- Integrate Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Dynamics 365, SQL Server, APIs, and third-party systems.
- Develop custom connectors and integrate REST APIs as needed to extend platform capabilities.
- Build dashboards and analytical reports using Power BI to support data-driven decision-making.
- Gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into technical and functional solutions.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, and IT throughout the application development lifecycle.
- Configure application security, permissions, environments, and governance in alignment with organizational standards.
- Perform application testing, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and provide production support.
- Manage deployments across development, testing, UAT, and production environments.
- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including solution architecture, workflows, and support procedures.
- Adhere to Microsoft Power Platform best practices for Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), governance, security, scalability, and performance.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior developers as required.
Required Qualifications
- 5 to 8 years of practical experience in Microsoft Power Platform development.
- Strong expertise in Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven Apps), Power Automate, Microsoft Dataverse, Power BI, and Power Pages (preferred).
- Proven experience with SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 integration.
- Skilled in integrating Power Platform with SQL Server, Dynamics 365, REST APIs, Azure services, and third-party applications.
- Solid understanding of Power Platform security, environments, connectors, solutions, and governance frameworks.
- Familiarity with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML/CSS, JSON, and REST APIs is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Azure services and Microsoft Entra ID is preferred.
- Experience with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and deployment pipelines.
- Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization capabilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Microsoft Power Platform certifications such as PL-400, PL-200, or PL-600 are advantageous.
