Mid-Level Video Editor

Kontact Group is seeking a talented Mid-Level Video Editor based in Pakistan with 2 to 4 years of professional experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating engaging and polished video content that effectively conveys the speaker’s authentic message. This role requires a creative mindset and strong technical skills to handle a variety of video formats including reels, YouTube Shorts, interviews, talking-head videos, and podcasts.

Key Responsibilities:
- Edit short-form content such as reels, YouTube Shorts, interviews, talking-head videos, and podcasts.
- Manage full-length, multicamera podcast editing, including audio synchronization and cleanup to ensure high-quality output.
- Repurpose long-form videos into captivating short clips suitable for various platforms.
- Apply color grading, subtitles, text overlays, and enhance audio to improve overall video quality.
- Maintain consistent quality standards while meeting project deadlines.

Required Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in CapCut is essential, along with experience using Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar video editing software.
- Solid understanding of storytelling techniques, pacing, composition, and sound design to create compelling video narratives.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating previous work, keen attention to detail, and excellent time-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in full-length podcast production and multicamera editing.
- Skills in motion graphics are a plus and will be considered an advantage.
