Mobile App Developer (Flutter) – Remote

BrightBench Labs is an early-stage mobile app studio focused on building subscription-based applications for iOS and Android platforms. As one of the first team members, you will play a crucial role in taking innovative app ideas from concept through to launch. This fully remote position offers the opportunity to work closely with the founder and have significant influence over product development and direction.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter, managing the entire lifecycle from initial screen design to final release.
- Set up and maintain backend services, primarily using Firebase or similar platforms, including authentication, database management, storage, and cloud functions.
- Integrate in-app subscriptions and paywalls utilizing RevenueCat or equivalent tools.
- Implement analytics and crash reporting to monitor user engagement and app performance.
- Handle app publishing and maintenance on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, including managing builds, store listings, and responding to review feedback.
- Establish and manage build pipelines, such as Codemagic, and maintain all source code within the company’s GitHub repository.
- Address bugs and deliver timely updates based on user feedback and data insights.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of one year of hands-on experience in mobile app development.
- Proficiency in Flutter and Dart programming languages.
- Experience working with Firebase or comparable backend services.
- At least one published app available on the App Store or Google Play.
- Familiarity with App Store Connect and Google Play Console for app management.
- Knowledge of implementing in-app purchases or subscription models; experience with RevenueCat is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively within a remote team environment.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
