We have recently launched Keet Mobile on iOS and Android, bringing our full peer-to-peer technology stack to a broad audience. Keet Mobile is powered by a custom JavaScript runtime designed specifically for peer-to-peer applications and reuses 100% of Keet Desktop’s code. The user interface is built entirely with React Native, enabling rapid iteration and flexibility. This architecture opens exciting future possibilities, and we are looking for talented developers to help us realize them.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Keet Mobile, a peer-to-peer chat and calling app for iOS and Android built with React Native and Expo.
- Own feature development end-to-end, including UI/UX implementation and integration with the P2P core APIs running on the device.
- Build and refine features across chat, voice and video calls, media sharing, device pairing, and identity backup.
- Integrate native platform capabilities such as push notifications, camera access, biometrics, and background tasks on both iOS and Android.
- Profile and optimize app performance on real devices, focusing on startup time, long chat sessions, media handling, battery consumption, and network usage.
- Write unit and end-to-end tests, contributing to stable releases through continuous integration and crash reporting.
- Collaborate closely with core P2P, design, and product teams, maintaining a high standard of code quality through thorough reviews.

Required Qualifications
- Significant experience with React Native, Redux for state management, and Redux-Saga.
- Highly proficient in JavaScript and ES6+.
- Experience working with WebSockets and RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with native build tools such as Xcode and Android Studio.
- Experience working effectively within a remote team environment.
- Strong interest in modernizing and optimizing mobile or web applications.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Knowledge of native languages such as Swift and Kotlin is advantageous.
- Experience building applications on peer-to-peer frameworks is a plus.
