Mobile / Full-Stack React Native Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Full-Stack React Native Mobile Engineer to join our team onsite in Islamabad, Pakistan. This full-time role requires a highly skilled professional with over five years of experience in software development, specializing in building scalable, secure, and high-performance mobile applications. The successful candidate will take full ownership of the development lifecycle, including frontend and backend development, database design, third-party integrations, testing, and production deployment. Immediate joiners are preferred.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native.
- Build secure backend APIs with Node.js, Express.js, and FastAPI.
- Design and optimize databases using MongoDB and Firebase Firestore.
- Integrate REST APIs and third-party services efficiently.
- Implement secure authentication mechanisms such as JWT, OAuth, and Firebase Authentication.
- Manage application state with Redux, Redux Toolkit, Zustand, or Context API.
- Enhance application performance, stability, security, and user experience.
- Troubleshoot complex issues across mobile, backend, database, and production environments.
- Personally manage production deployments to both Google Play Store and Apple App Store, including release management, versioning, signing, and store listings.
- Participate actively in Agile or Scrum development processes.
- Conduct thorough code reviews and uphold high code quality standards.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.
- Document technical decisions, integration processes, and deployment workflows.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong hands-on expertise in React Native development.
- Advanced proficiency in JavaScript ES6+ and TypeScript.
- Solid experience with React.js, including Hooks and state management solutions.
- Extensive backend development skills using Node.js and Express.js.
- Hands-on production experience with FastAPI and Python.
- Professional experience working with MongoDB and Firebase Firestore databases.
- Proven ability to develop and integrate REST APIs.
- Experience implementing secure authentication and authorization protocols.
- Proficiency with Git and platforms such as GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
- Must have personally deployed and maintained production applications on both Google Play Store and Apple App Store. Experience limited to only one store or theoretical knowledge is not sufficient.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Capability to conduct code reviews and mentor other developers effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Willingness and ability to work full-time onsite in Islamabad.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience with Firebase services such as Cloud Messaging, Analytics, Crashlytics, or Remote Config.
- Previous team leadership and mentoring experience.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or DigitalOcean.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline implementation.
- Experience with payment gateway integrations and push notification systems.
- Skills in Google Maps and social-login integrations.
- Exposure to automated testing frameworks.
- Understanding of mobile application security and data encryption best practices.
- Experience deploying applications on cloud or VPS environments.
