The Monitoring Executive will remotely connect to global monitoring device stations using a VPN to evaluate consumer pre-payment experiences across assigned countries. The role involves daily manual searches to identify advertising placements for mobile value-added services (mVAS), ensuring compliance with country-specific regulations. The Monitoring Executive is responsible for meeting key performance indicators related to discovery volumes and maintaining a high detection rate of relevant advertising flows. When performance falls below benchmarks, they will analyze search strategies and recommend improvements such as adjusting search channels, keywords, or device preferences.
Accurate record-keeping of search activities and results is essential, including logging and categorizing new advertising examples in coordination with the Publisher team. The role requires balancing broad internet searches to enhance the live-site database with targeted efforts to detect non-compliant advertising. The Monitoring Executive will conduct full flow tests on new or suspicious services to identify fraudulent activity, marking any non-compliant user journeys as Items of Interest (IOI) and promptly referring these to client contacts and the Compliance Officer team.
Additionally, the Monitoring Executive will prepare monthly presentations highlighting key market developments and share best practices with colleagues. They will also support management reporting and trend analysis on both scheduled and ad-hoc bases. Occasionally, the role involves assisting the publishing team with monitoring device maintenance and supporting the Compliance Officer team in service testing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily manual internet and app-based advertising searches and monitoring
- Achieve country-specific benchmarks for site, issue, and service discoveries
- Review discovered advertising flows daily and escalate findings to the appropriate internal teams
- Maintain meticulous records of search activities and report results accurately
- Prepare and deliver weekly and monthly presentations to colleagues and management
- Support daily checks and maintenance of monitoring devices
- Assist with full testing of client services as required
Required Qualifications:
- Demonstrated good level of academic achievement
- 3-5 years of experience in testing, quality assurance, compliance, regulatory, technical, IT, or risk management roles preferred
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to analyze large volumes of data quickly and accurately
- Experience in client-facing roles with proficiency in English communication is highly advantageous
Skills:
- Excellent written and spoken English is essential
- Preference given to candidates with Arabic or other international language skills
- Advanced computing skills with the ability to perform technical tasks using graphical user interfaces (no programming required)

This role is based in Rawalpindi, Pakistan, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 1 PM to 9 PM, and occasional weekend coverage as needed.
