Motion Designer

Latency Studio, a dynamic and innovative design studio based in Lahore, specializes in brand, web, and digital design. As the studio expands, they are seeking a talented Motion Designer to join their team and grow alongside the company. This role offers genuine creative responsibility, allowing you to take ownership of motion design across various client projects and internal studio work.

Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for creating motion graphics for social media, advertisements, websites, and brand launches. This includes animating logos, UI interactions, product showcases, and explainer videos. Your role involves transforming static designs, scripts, and storyboards into polished animated content. Additionally, you will edit video footage, integrating type, motion, and sound to produce cohesive final pieces. Presenting your work to the design team and clients when necessary is part of the role. You will manage your own timelines to ensure on-time delivery and maintain organized, well-labelled project files for smooth handoffs.

Required Qualifications
Candidates should have a minimum of two years of professional experience in motion design or animation. Proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro is essential, along with working knowledge of Illustrator, Photoshop, and Figma. A keen eye for timing, easing, typography, and composition is critical. The ideal candidate demonstrates a high level of professionalism, communicates clearly, meets deadlines consistently, and takes full ownership of their work. Comfort with receiving feedback and making quick revisions is important. Strong written and spoken English skills are required for client interactions. A portfolio or showreel showcasing your best motion design work is mandatory for consideration.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Experience with 3D software such as Blender or Cinema 4D is a plus, as are skills in sound design or audio editing. Familiarity with creating short-form content for platforms like Reels, TikTok, or YouTube Shorts will be advantageous. Experience using AI tools in the creative workflow and previous work in an agency or studio environment with international clients are also desirable.

Latency Studio offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs 50,000 to Rs 100,000, based on skills and experience. The position provides real creative ownership rather than just execution, with work that directly contributes to your portfolio and full credit for your contributions. You will be part of a small, collaborative team where your ideas are valued and implemented.
