MTO Purchase

Diamond Group of Industries is looking for a highly motivated and career-oriented Management Trainee Officer (MTO) – Purchase to join our Procurement team. This role is ideal for fresh graduates or early-career professionals who have a strong academic background and a keen interest in procurement and supply chain operations. The successful candidate will support the procurement process by coordinating with suppliers, managing purchase orders, and assisting in vendor evaluation, all while adhering to company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in procurement and purchasing activities in line with company policies.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to obtain quotations, place orders, and track deliveries.
- Prepare quotation comparisons to support decision-making in procurement.
- Follow up on purchase orders to ensure timely receipt of materials.
- Liaise with internal departments to understand and fulfill purchase requirements.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to procurement activities.
- Support vendor coordination and evaluation processes.
- Provide day-to-day assistance to the Purchase team in procurement operations.

Required Qualifications:
- MBA or MS in Supply Chain Management from a recognized university.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Commerce, or a related field.
- Fresh graduates with relevant academic qualifications are encouraged to apply.
- Strong academic performance with a genuine interest in procurement and supply chain functions.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
- Internship or academic project experience in Procurement or Supply Chain is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills to effectively manage supplier relationships.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to coordinate and follow up efficiently.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
- Eagerness to learn and develop a long-term career in Procurement and Supply Chain Management.
