Huawei is seeking experienced Multi-Vendor Telecom Datacom Planning Engineers and Team Leads based in Pakistan. The ideal candidates will have strong hands-on expertise in multi-vendor telecom Datacom and IP transport systems, working with equipment from Huawei, Cisco, Nokia, ZTE, and other third-party vendors. This role involves planning and designing complex IP/MPLS networks across metro, regional, and long-haul segments, ensuring efficient network deployment and integration.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of Datacom planning engineers to ensure timely delivery of network designs and achievement of project milestones.
- Develop and oversee High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation for metro, regional, and long-haul IP/MPLS networks.
- Analyze network traffic patterns, perform link budget analyses, and accurately forecast bandwidth requirements.
- Manage Capital Expenditure (CapEx) planning, budget forecasting, Bill of Materials (BOM) preparation, Request for Proposals (RFPs), and technical evaluations of tenders.
- Coordinate effectively with equipment vendors, contractors, and various internal departments to ensure seamless project execution.
- Define and enforce operational standards while driving continuous improvements in network deployment, monitoring, and maintenance processes.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecom Engineering, or a related field (B.E./B.Sc. or equivalent).
- Proven hands-on experience with IP systems from Huawei (NE, CX, ATN), Cisco, Juniper, Nokia, or ZTE.
- Strong expertise in multi-vendor IP network integration, including Network Planning and Design for IP/MPLS, Segment Routing (SR), BGP, OSPF, and ISIS protocols.
- Solid understanding of telecom site installation, testing, commissioning, network swaps, upgrades, and merger projects.
- In-depth knowledge of link budgets, optical protection schemes, Network Management Systems (NMS), and routing/MPLS integration.
- Excellent analytical thinking, project management skills, vendor negotiation capabilities, and communication proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience working with major telecom operators such as Zong, Jazz, Telenor, Ufone, PTCL, or similar organizations is highly desirable.
- Candidates with a minimum of 5 years of experience for Junior Engineer roles, 7+ years for Senior Engineer positions, and 8 to 15+ years for Team Lead roles will be considered.
