We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Network Administrator to oversee the management, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our organization's computer networks and IT infrastructure. The successful candidate will ensure smooth and secure network operations by applying strong technical knowledge and problem-solving abilities. This role requires a proactive approach to maintaining reliable internet connectivity and supporting the IT needs of the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain computer networks, including routers, switches, and Wi-Fi systems.
- Monitor network performance to ensure consistent and reliable internet and LAN connectivity.
- Diagnose and resolve network issues, hardware faults, and connectivity problems promptly.
- Implement and maintain network security protocols, user access controls, and data protection measures.
- Provide technical support to employees for network-related concerns.
- Manage network cables, IP address allocation, network devices, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Assist in the upkeep of servers, printers, and other connected IT equipment.
- Conduct routine network backups, updates, and preventive maintenance tasks.
- Liaise with internet service providers and external IT vendors to address technical challenges.
- Keep detailed records of IT assets, network configurations, faults, and maintenance activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field from a recognized university is preferred.
- 1 to 3 years of professional experience in network administration or IT support.
- Basic to intermediate understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN, and WAN.
- Hands-on experience with routers, switches, Wi-Fi devices, and network troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems and basic server administration.
- Knowledge of network security principles and access management.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and respond promptly to technical issues.
- Responsible, organized, and professional work attitude.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- CCNA certification is desirable and will be considered an advantage.
