We are seeking a skilled and motivated Network Administrator to join a reputable organization based in Lahore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining the company’s network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability. This role requires hands-on experience with network devices, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to coordinate with vendors and service providers to support IT infrastructure. Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain LAN/WAN and overall network infrastructure to ensure seamless connectivity.
- Configure, troubleshoot, and manage switches, routers, Wi-Fi access points, and other network devices.
- Continuously monitor network performance, bandwidth utilization, connectivity, and availability.
- Analyze system logs and security alerts, coordinating timely resolution of incidents and vulnerabilities.
- Assist with server backup processes, disaster recovery plans, and business continuity activities.
- Liaise with vendors and service providers for network, server, and IT infrastructure support.
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows and Linux servers along with related services.
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies, and user account administration.
- Diagnose and resolve network-related issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate network documentation, configurations, and inventory records.
- Provide technical support to end-users regarding network connectivity and services.
- Coordinate with Internet Service Providers and vendors to resolve network-related problems.
- Ensure availability and reliability of critical IT systems and network services.
- Implement and enforce network security measures, backup connectivity, and operational continuity.
- Comply with organizational IT policies, security standards, and procedures.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking, or a related field from an HEC-recognized institution.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in network operations and support.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, VLAN, DHCP, DNS, and Wi-Fi technologies.
- Practical experience with network switches, routers, and firewalls.
- Ability to manage and troubleshoot network infrastructure effectively.
Preferred Qualifications and Additional Information:
- CCNA or an equivalent professional certification is highly desirable and will be considered an advantage.
