Network Engineer - Fiber & ISP Operations

MNA Telecom (Pvt.) Ltd. is seeking a skilled Network Engineer with 3 to 5+ years of experience to join their team in Lahore, Pakistan. This full-time, permanent position focuses on managing, deploying, and maintaining ISP and enterprise telecommunications infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with fiber-optic networks and ISP operations, ensuring high network performance, security, and reliability in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and manage MikroTik routers, switches, Optical Line Terminals (OLTs), and GPON/FTTH networks.
- Oversee fiber-optic connectivity, including routing, switching, and troubleshooting network issues.
- Monitor network performance metrics such as uptime, security, and overall reliability.
- Support enterprise connectivity requirements, bandwidth management, and network expansion projects.
- Coordinate network deployment, maintenance activities, and technical operations to ensure seamless service delivery.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Telecommunications), Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related PEC-accredited engineering discipline.
- Valid registration with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) is mandatory.
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in ISP, telecom, or enterprise networking environments.
- Strong practical knowledge of MikroTik, Cisco, Huawei GPON/OLT equipment, VLANs, BGP, OSPF, and fiber-optic network technologies.

Preferred Qualifications and Certifications:
- Professional certifications such as CCNA, MTCNA, or Huawei certifications will be considered an advantage and add value to the candidate’s profile.
