Network engineer Lahore

Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and manage network devices including routers, switches, and firewalls to ensure optimal network performance and availability.
- Monitor network performance continuously, diagnose issues, and perform root cause analysis to maintain high reliability and security.
- Implement and enforce network security policies, including firewalls, VPNs, and access controls, to safeguard enterprise systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Solution Design, and Solution Delivery to support integrated IT solutions.
- Assist with network capacity planning and scalability to meet evolving business demands.
- Document network architectures, configurations, and procedures clearly and maintain configuration standards.
- Provide technical support and guidance to internal stakeholders and clients, ensuring smooth network operations and quick resolution of issues.

Required Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Network Engineering and Network Design within enterprise environments.
- Proficient in Network Administration, including configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of network devices and services.
- Advanced troubleshooting skills to efficiently diagnose and resolve complex network problems.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Network Security principles and technologies such as firewalls, VPNs, and access control mechanisms.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise networking technologies from vendors like Cisco, Juniper, or HP, and familiarity with routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.
- Experience with switching technologies including VLANs and Spanning Tree Protocol (STP).
- Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools, including Network Management Systems (NMS), SNMP, and log analysis platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a collaborative approach to working in cross-functional teams.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, capable of documenting network designs and procedures clearly.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
