ibex is seeking an experienced Network Engineering PMO Project Manager to oversee and drive network engineering projects from initiation through to successful completion. This role involves managing multiple projects within a program, ensuring alignment with strategic roadmaps, and delivering results that support business objectives. The ideal candidate will serve as a key liaison among engineering teams, leadership, vendors, and business units, providing clear communication and maintaining rigorous project governance.
Key Responsibilities
Project & Program Management:
Lead network engineering projects end-to-end, managing all phases from intake to closure. Support program-level activities including planning, prioritization, and roadmap alignment. Develop and maintain detailed project plans that outline milestones, dependencies, resource allocation, and RAID logs (Risks, Actions, Issues, Decisions). Facilitate project kickoffs, working sessions, and executive briefings to ensure clarity and alignment on outcomes.
Communication & Stakeholder Oversight:
Serve as the primary point of contact for engineering teams, leadership, vendors, and business units. Provide concise, executive-ready updates that translate technical progress into business impact. Lead structured meetings with clear agendas, decision logs, and follow-up tracking. Proactively identify and escalate risks and issues, ensuring ownership and resolution paths are clearly defined.
Governance & Reporting:
Maintain high data integrity within Jira for tracking work, workflows, ownership, and timelines. Apply PMO governance standards with disciplined documentation and reporting practices. Build and sustain executive dashboards and portfolio views to monitor project health, capacity, and overall progress.
Required Qualifications
Experience:
A minimum of 5 years in project management within technology, infrastructure, telecommunications, network engineering, or data center environments.
PMO Experience:
Proven experience operating within a PMO structure, managing multiple projects and programs simultaneously.
Tooling:
Advanced proficiency in Jira for project planning, tracking, workflow management, and reporting.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
Soft Skills:
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present effectively at the executive level.
Preferred Qualifications
Certification:
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly desirable.
Technical Background:
Experience supporting Network Engineering, Cloud, Telecommunications, Data Center, or Service Provider environments.
Networking Knowledge:
Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Network+, JNCIA, or equivalent are preferred.
Methodologies:
Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid project delivery frameworks is advantageous.
