ibex is seeking a skilled Network Engineering PMO Project Manager to oversee and drive network engineering projects from initiation through to successful completion. This role requires a proactive leader who can manage multiple projects within a program framework, ensuring alignment with strategic roadmaps while maintaining clear communication across technical and business stakeholders. The ideal candidate will bring strong project management expertise combined with a deep understanding of network engineering environments, supporting seamless delivery and governance.
Key Responsibilities
Project & Program Management:
Manage network engineering projects end-to-end, from intake through closure, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes. Support program-level planning, prioritization, and alignment with overall roadmaps. Develop and maintain detailed project plans that include milestones, dependencies, resource allocation, and RAID logs (Risks, Issues, Actions, Decisions). Facilitate project kickoffs, working sessions, and executive briefings with clear, actionable outcomes.
Communication & Stakeholder Oversight:
Serve as the primary point of contact for engineering teams, leadership, vendors, and business units. Provide concise, executive-level updates that translate technical progress into business impact. Lead structured meetings with defined agendas, decision logs, and tracked follow-up actions. Proactively escalate risks and issues, ensuring clear ownership and resolution paths.
Governance & Reporting:
Maintain high data integrity within Jira for tracking work, workflows, ownership, and timelines. Apply PMO governance standards with rigorous documentation and disciplined reporting. Build and maintain executive dashboards and portfolio views to monitor project health, capacity, and performance metrics.
Required Qualifications
Experience:
A minimum of 5 years of project management experience within technology, infrastructure, telecommunications, network engineering, or data center environments.
PMO Experience:
Demonstrated ability to operate effectively within a PMO structure, applying governance and reporting best practices.
Tooling:
Advanced proficiency in Jira for planning, tracking, workflow management, and reporting.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
Soft Skills:
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver executive-level presentations clearly and confidently.
Preferred Qualifications
Certification:
PMP certification is highly desirable.
Technical Background:
Experience supporting Network Engineering, Cloud, Telecommunications, Data Center, or Service Provider environments is preferred.
Networking Knowledge:
Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Network+, JNCIA, or equivalent will be considered an advantage.
Methodologies:
Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid project delivery frameworks is beneficial.
