Company: JazzWorld
JazzWorld, Pakistan’s fastest-growing digital ecosystem, offers diverse services across connectivity, financial services, entertainment, lifestyle, enterprise, and software. As a Network Integration & Implementation Engineer, you will be responsible for building, integrating, and migrating customer networks involving firewalls, secure remote access, network access control, SD-WAN, enterprise wireless, routing, and switching. You will work closely with public-sector, financial services, and large enterprise clients to deliver secure, well-documented implementations across multi-vendor environments, including live production changes and nationwide deployments.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy and configure multi-vendor next-generation firewalls, including access policies, NAT, site-to-site and remote-access VPNs, IPS, and threat prevention.
- Implement and upgrade network access control using Cisco ISE or equivalent solutions, covering 802.1X, MAB, TACACS+, RADIUS, device administration, and MFA across mixed-vendor switching environments.
- Lead branch-scale SD-WAN rollouts, including site onboarding, policy configuration, data center integration, and cutover activities.
- Deploy multi-site enterprise wireless networks with identity-based access and guest services, and refresh routing and switching infrastructure focusing on VLAN segmentation, inter-VLAN routing, redundancy, and high availability.
- Integrate AWS and Azure cloud networking and security, including hybrid connectivity where necessary.
- Develop detailed implementation plans, methods of procedure (MOPs), migration steps, and rollback plans aligned with statements of work and approved designs.
- Execute firewall migrations, platform upgrades, and technology refreshes in live production environments with clearly defined fallbacks, validation criteria, and customer acceptance testing.
- Troubleshoot network and security incidents using firewall logs, VPN sessions, and authentication events; support root-cause analysis, vulnerability assessments, and audit remediation.
- Complete handovers to managed services teams with accurate as-built documentation, runbooks, monitoring details, and knowledge transfer; collaborate with OEMs, distributors, and partners on technical escalations and TAC cases.
- Mentor junior engineers on implementation and documentation standards and support Solutions Engineering with effort estimates and bill-of-materials reviews when required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of network and network-security engineering experience, including at least 3 years delivering enterprise projects within systems integrator, service provider, or managed services environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, or related fields.
- Proven experience delivering SD-WAN rollouts across 100+ sites, Cisco ISE or equivalent NAC deployments/upgrades for banks or large enterprises, multi-site identity-based wireless deployments, and live-production firewall migrations.
- Hands-on expertise with Cisco ASA/FTD/FMC, Palo Alto NGFW/Panorama, FortiGate, or Huawei firewalls, including policy management, NAT, IPsec/SSL VPN, IPS, and threat prevention.
- Strong understanding of Cisco ISE, 802.1X, TACACS+, RADIUS, device administration, MFA, Cisco Meraki or Palo Alto SD-WAN, and wireless controllers such as Cisco Catalyst 9800, Aruba, or Huawei with guest access and RADIUS integration.
- Solid routing and switching experience with Cisco Catalyst, Nexus, ISR/ASR, and 8000 series, Huawei or H3C switches, including L2/L3 design, VLANs, routing protocols, and high availability. AWS/Azure cloud networking knowledge is a plus.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like SolarWinds or equivalents, and ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow. Holding or pursuing CCNP Enterprise/Security or vendor security certifications (PCNSA/PCNSE, Fortinet NSE) is required; progress towards CCIE is advantageous.
- Experience working with Pakistani public-sector, banking, or large-enterprise clients, with a strong grasp of change control, audit requirements, documentation rigor, customer communication, early escalation, cross-team collaboration, and willingness to travel nationwide including outside office hours.
