We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team in monitoring and optimizing the performance of solar power plants. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of solar installations by utilizing SCADA and other monitoring systems. This position involves real-time fault detection, performance analysis, and close collaboration with site teams to maintain high levels of energy generation and system reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor the performance of solar plants using SCADA and various monitoring platforms to ensure optimal operation.
- Detect and identify faults, alarms, and irregularities in power generation promptly.
- Prepare and compile daily reports detailing generation statistics and overall plant performance.
- Assist in logging incidents, tracking their progress, and supporting resolution efforts.
- Work closely with site teams to address operational issues and implement corrective measures.
- Maintain comprehensive records of downtime, faults, and the actions taken to resolve them.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or currently pursuing such a degree.
- Basic understanding of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with fundamental data analysis techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve technical issues.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Willingness to travel to various sites as required for inspections and troubleshooting.
