Network Support Engineer

We are seeking a skilled professional to manage the deployment and maintenance of FTTH and GPON networks. This role involves hands-on work with fiber optic cable laying, splicing, testing, ONT installation, router configuration, and delivering triple play services including Internet, cable TV, and phone. The candidate will also supervise field teams to ensure key performance indicators (KPIs) are consistently met. A crucial part of the job includes reviewing and understanding manufacturer documentation and manuals for various transmission equipment. Additionally, the role requires conducting surveys of high-rise buildings and other sites, monitoring network deployment, and preparing cost estimates for new installations based on customer requirements. Familiarity with Wi-Fi coverage tools will be considered an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:
- Handle network deployment and maintenance activities for FTTH and GPON networks, including fiber optic cable laying, splicing, and testing.
- Install ONTs and configure routers to deliver triple play services (Internet, cable TV, and phone).
- Supervise and coordinate field teams to ensure achievement of KPIs.
- Read and interpret manufacturer documentation and equipment manuals related to transmission systems.
- Conduct site surveys, particularly for high-rise buildings, and monitor network deployment progress.
- Understand customer requirements during surveys and prepare accurate cost estimates for new installations.
- Utilize knowledge of Wi-Fi coverage tools to enhance network deployment and service quality (preferred).

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunication, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve technical problems effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with teams and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Experience or knowledge of Wi-Fi coverage tools is an added advantage.
