Network Support Engineer

This role involves managing the deployment and maintenance of FTTH and GPON networks, including fiber optic cable laying, splicing, and testing. The candidate will also be responsible for ONT installation, router configuration, and delivering triple play services such as Internet, cable TV, and phone. Supervising field teams to ensure key performance indicators (KPIs) are met is a crucial part of the position. Additionally, the role requires reviewing and understanding manufacturer documentation and manuals for various transmission equipment. Conducting surveys of high-rise buildings and other sites to monitor network deployment is essential. The candidate will oversee complete FTTH installations, assess customer requirements during surveys, and prepare cost estimates for new installations. Familiarity with Wi-Fi coverage tools is considered an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage network deployment and maintenance activities for FTTH and GPON networks, including fiber optic cable laying, splicing, and testing.
- Perform ONT installation and router configuration to ensure delivery of Internet, cable TV, and phone services.
- Supervise and coordinate field teams to meet established KPIs.
- Read and interpret manufacturer documentation and manuals related to transmission equipment.
- Conduct site surveys, particularly in high-rise buildings, to support network deployment.
- Monitor and oversee complete FTTH installations, ensuring customer requirements are accurately captured and cost estimates are prepared.
- Utilize Wi-Fi coverage tools to enhance network planning and deployment (preferred).

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunication, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with teams and interact with customers.
