Network & Systems Engineer (MikroTik / VMware ESXi)

CloudEx Pakistan is seeking a skilled and proactive Network & Systems Engineer with extensive hands-on experience in MikroTik and VMware technologies to oversee and support the company’s IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for configuring, managing, and troubleshooting network devices and virtualization environments to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot MikroTik routers, including RouterOS, firewall settings, NAT, queues, and VPN configurations.
- Design, implement, and maintain LAN and VLAN setups across the organization’s network.
- Manage routing and switching tasks, including static and dynamic routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP, as well as handling managed switches.
- Administer and maintain servers along with VMware ESXi virtualization environments to support business operations.
- Set up and continuously monitor network performance and uptime using tools like Zabbix, PRTG, The Dude, or similar monitoring software.
- Quickly diagnose and resolve network and server-related issues to minimize downtime and maintain service quality.

Required Qualifications:
- Strong practical experience with MikroTik devices; certifications such as MTCNA or MTCRE are considered a plus.
- Proven hands-on experience with VMware ESXi and server management.
- Solid understanding of routing, switching, VLANs, and LAN network design principles.
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools to ensure proactive infrastructure management.
- CCNA certification or an equivalent credential is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience in network and systems engineering.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs100,000 to Rs130,000.
- Work location is on-site, allowing for direct interaction with the IT infrastructure and team members.
