NOC Engineer

We are seeking a skilled NOC Engineer to join our team in Karachi. This full-time position involves working on a rotational shift basis, covering morning, evening, and night shifts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the company’s networking systems to ensure smooth and secure operations. This role requires close collaboration with various teams to promptly address and resolve network issues while supporting ongoing infrastructure upgrades and expansions. The position demands strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain networking systems that support company operations.
- Conduct regular assessments of network security and recommend necessary enhancements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues promptly.
- Ensure the efficient operation of routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking equipment.
- Implement network policies and procedures aimed at optimizing performance and security.
- Monitor network performance continuously and suggest adjustments to meet evolving business needs.
- Provide technical support to end-users and assist in resolving connectivity problems.
- Participate in the planning and execution of network infrastructure upgrades and expansions.

Required Qualifications:
- Proficiency in networking protocols and technologies such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, PPPoE, QinQ, and IPSec.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with static and dynamic routing protocols.
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools and management systems, including but not limited to Cacti, LibreNMS, Nagios, SolarWinds, and PRTG.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment and perform well under pressure.
- Excellent multitasking abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness and ability to reliably commute or relocate to Karachi prior to starting work.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- CCNA certification is considered a plus.
- Awareness of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in network engineering is highly valued.
- This role requires in-person attendance at the Karachi office.
