Node.js Application Development Associate

The Node.js Application Development Associate role is a full-time, on-site position based in Lahore. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining Node.js applications, APIs, and backend services. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable, secure, and efficient solutions that meet client needs.

Key Responsibilities

- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable Node.js code for backend applications and services.
- Develop and integrate databases and third-party services to support application functionality.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation to ensure quality standards.
- Support deployment processes and assist in performance optimization efforts.
- Collaborate closely with senior engineers and team members to deliver scalable and secure solutions aligned with project requirements.

Required Qualifications

- Proficiency in software development and programming with a strong focus on Node.js and JavaScript.
- Experience working with databases, including relational and NoSQL databases, with the ability to write efficient queries.
- Basic knowledge of Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and frontend integration to support full-stack workflows.
- Familiarity with integration techniques such as RESTful APIs, third-party services, and microservices communication.
- Understanding of web application architecture, security best practices, and version control systems like Git.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work effectively in an on-site team environment, communicate clearly, and manage tasks proactively.

Preferred Qualifications

- Exposure to cloud platforms and DevOps practices is advantageous.
- Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks is a plus.
