We are seeking a skilled and motivated Node.js Developer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing, maintaining, and optimizing scalable web applications. This position requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and high-quality software solutions that meet business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend applications using Node.js and Express.js frameworks.
- Design, build, and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services to enhance application functionality.
- Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code that adheres to best practices.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance to ensure reliability and efficiency.
- Participate actively in code reviews to maintain high coding standards across the team.
- Contribute to deployment processes and support continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Stay informed about the latest industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve development practices.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in Node.js development.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, and Express.js.
- Experience with React.js and frontend integration to collaborate effectively with UI teams.
- Solid understanding of REST API design and backend architecture principles.
- Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases such as Postgres and MongoDB.
- Proficient in using Git for version control and collaborative development.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities combined with strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI to streamline deployment workflows.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure for scalable application hosting and management.
- Understanding of scalable system design and performance optimization techniques.
- Experience working with maps, geolocation services, or spatial data is considered an advantage.
The position offers a competitive monthly salary of up to Rs160,000. The role requires working on-site to facilitate close collaboration and effective communication within the team.
