Aga Khan University Hospital, a premier not-for-profit healthcare institution in Pakistan, is seeking a Nurse Manager for its Office of Clinical Nursing Practice and Innovation. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead nursing services to ensure high standards of patient care and safety, providing guidance on quality, safety, and risk management initiatives.
- Promote adherence to accreditation standards and cultivate a culture of continuous improvement within nursing practice.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and uphold care excellence.
- Oversee the collection, analysis, and reporting of quality and safety data, actively participating in relevant committees.
- Regularly evaluate nursing clinical practices to ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and organizational standards.
- Direct nursing quality assurance and patient safety programs to ensure safe, effective, and patient-centered care delivery.
- Assess nursing outcomes and quality improvement efforts, facilitating the integration of evidence-based practices and clinical guidelines.
- Analyze nursing-sensitive indicators and patient care data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement; conduct audits and communicate findings to nursing leadership.
- Lead investigations into patient safety incidents, near misses, and clinical risks, implementing corrective and preventive measures to enhance safety.
- Ensure compliance with nursing policies, standards, procedures, and documentation, serving as a resource for nurse managers and clinical teams.
- Identify and implement innovative nursing practices, technologies, and care delivery models. Support nursing quality improvement and research initiatives to improve patient outcomes.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) from a recognized institution; a Master’s degree in Nursing (MScN) or equivalent is preferred.
- Current registration with the Pakistan Nursing & Midwifery Council.
- Minimum of ten years of progressive nursing experience, preferably in an acute care setting, with at least five years in leadership or management roles related to nursing quality, professional practice, patient safety, clinical excellence, or innovation.
- Proven experience in leading quality improvement, evidence-based practice, research, or change management initiatives.
- Familiarity with accreditation and regulatory standards.
- Expertise in evidence-based practice, clinical governance, and performance improvement.
- Strong skills in analyzing, interpreting, and presenting nursing quality and patient safety data.
- Demonstrated leadership, project management, and change management abilities.
- Ability to lead interdisciplinary teams and influence nursing practice changes across Nursing Services.
- Proficiency in quality management systems, data analytics, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Willingness to work shifts and travel nationally and internationally as required.
