Alliant College of Professional Studies is seeking a seasoned and dynamic Principal to lead its Department of Nursing Sciences, overseeing BSN (Generic and Post-RN) and Nursing Diploma programs including LHV, CNA, and CMW. The Principal will provide strong academic and administrative leadership, ensuring that all programs comply with Pakistan Nursing Council (PNC) and Higher Education Commission (HEC) standards. This role involves curriculum development, faculty mentorship, and fostering clinical and professional excellence among students. The successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining regulatory compliance, managing clinical training partnerships, and driving the department’s growth and reputation.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide comprehensive academic and administrative leadership to the Nursing Department.
- Ensure full compliance with Pakistan Nursing Council (PNC) regulations, accreditation requirements, and HEC guidelines for all nursing programs.
- Develop, review, and update curricula to align with PNC/HEC standards and current healthcare practices.
- Oversee faculty recruitment, mentoring, performance evaluations, and ongoing professional development.
- Manage quality clinical training through hospital and clinical affiliations, ensuring supervised practicums meet educational standards.
- Monitor student academic progress, attendance, and clinical competency assessments to maintain high standards.
- Represent the department during PNC inspections, HEC audits, and other regulatory visits.
- Lead strategic departmental planning including admissions strategies, scholarship criteria, and program expansion initiatives.
- Enforce discipline, professional conduct, and adherence to dress code policies (uniforms/scrubs) among students.
- Collaborate with Admissions and Marketing teams to support outreach efforts and enrollment targets.
- Organize and facilitate academic events such as seminars, poster competitions, World Health Days, and guest lectures.
- Prepare and present regular academic and performance reports to senior management.

Required Qualifications

- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) is mandatory.
- Valid and current registration/license with the Pakistan Nursing Council (PNC).
- A minimum of 8 years of combined clinical, teaching, and administrative experience in nursing education.
- Proven experience with PNC accreditation processes and regulatory compliance.
- Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development and faculty supervision.

Skills and Competencies

- Strong leadership, administrative, and decision-making capabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective engagement with students, faculty, and regulatory authorities.
- In-depth knowledge of nursing education standards, clinical training protocols, and healthcare regulations specific to Pakistan.
- Ability to manage multiple nursing programs simultaneously, including Generic BSN, Post-RN, and Diploma courses.
- Commitment to ethical practices, student mentorship, and supporting institutional growth.
