We are seeking an experienced Odoo Functional Consultant to join our team for the implementation and ongoing support of a comprehensive 360° University Management System. This permanent, on-site position is based in Lahore, where the successful candidate will collaborate closely with university stakeholders to ensure smooth deployment and continuous improvement of the system.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation, configuration, testing, and deployment of Odoo-based university management solutions.
- Coordinate with the development and technical teams to clarify functional requirements, address issues, and suggest enhancements.
- Engage with university stakeholders and end users to gather requirements and resolve functional challenges.
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT), system testing, user training, and provide implementation support.
- Manage user roles, access permissions, and system administration tasks.
- Prepare detailed project documentation, user guides, and implementation reports.
- Track issues, milestones, and progress throughout the implementation phase, reporting updates to management.
- Provide post-deployment support including troubleshooting and system maintenance.
- Serve as a liaison between clients, end users, project management, and technical teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 3 to 6 years of experience in Odoo, ERP implementation, functional consulting, or enterprise software support.
- Strong understanding of Odoo and ERP systems from an end-user and functional perspective.
- Proven experience in ERP implementation projects, UAT, testing, and user support.
- Excellent client-facing skills with strong communication abilities.
- Proficient in documentation, reporting, and project coordination.
- Competent in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Basic knowledge of SQL, Linux, and networking concepts.
- Familiarity with user management, access control, and system administration principles.
Preferred Qualifications and Additional Skills
- Previous experience specifically in Odoo implementation or functional consultancy roles.
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL database management.
- Basic programming skills in Python.
- Understanding of APIs and system integration techniques.
- Experience with reporting and Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
- Exposure to university, education sector, or large-scale ERP projects is highly desirable.
