Odoo Functional Consultant – Implementation & Support

We are seeking an experienced Odoo Functional Consultant to join our team for the implementation and ongoing support of a comprehensive 360° University Management System. This permanent, on-site position is based in Lahore and requires close collaboration with university stakeholders to ensure successful deployment and continuous improvement of the ERP solution.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation, configuration, testing, and deployment of Odoo-based university management solutions.
- Coordinate with the development and technical teams to communicate functional requirements, address issues, and suggest enhancements.
- Engage with university stakeholders and end users to gather requirements and resolve functional challenges.
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT), system testing, user training, and provide implementation support.
- Manage user roles, access permissions, and system administration tasks.
- Prepare project documentation, user guides, and implementation reports to ensure clear communication and knowledge transfer.
- Track issues, milestones, and overall implementation progress, reporting regularly to management.
- Provide post-deployment support, troubleshooting, and ongoing system maintenance.
- Act as a liaison between clients, end users, project management, and technical teams to ensure alignment and smooth project delivery.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 3 to 6 years of experience in Odoo, ERP implementation, functional consulting, or enterprise software support.
- Strong understanding of Odoo and ERP systems from an end-user and functional perspective.
- Proven experience in ERP implementation, UAT, testing, and user support.
- Excellent client-facing and communication skills to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong documentation, reporting, and project coordination abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Basic knowledge of SQL, Linux, and networking concepts.
- Familiarity with user management, access control, and system administration within ERP environments.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Skills
- Prior experience in Odoo implementation or functional consultancy is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL database management.
- Basic understanding of Python programming.
- Familiarity with APIs and system integrations to support seamless connectivity between platforms.
- Experience with reporting and Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
- Background working on university, education sector, or large-scale ERP projects is a plus.
