Hysenra is seeking a skilled Odoo Functional Consultant with both functional expertise and hands-on technical knowledge to join their team on a full-time basis. This role is suited for professionals who can bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions by working directly with clients to gather requirements, configure Odoo applications, and understand the development aspects necessary for customizations and integrations. The consultant will collaborate closely with clients, project managers, and developers to deliver comprehensive Odoo implementations across various industries. The position is based in Pakistan and offers onsite or hybrid work options.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct requirement-gathering sessions and analyze client business processes to translate them into effective Odoo solutions.
- Configure and implement relevant Odoo modules according to client needs.
- Prepare detailed functional specifications to guide custom development efforts.
- Collaborate with Odoo developers by clearly communicating technical requirements and reviewing customizations.
- Understand and evaluate existing Odoo customizations to suggest improvements.
- Perform functional testing and validate custom-developed modules.
- Configure workflows, user permissions, approval processes, automated actions, email templates, and system settings within Odoo.
- Assist with data migration, including data mapping, imports, and validation.
- Conduct gap analysis between standard Odoo features and client requirements.
- Provide product demonstrations and solution walkthroughs to clients.
- Address client queries and recommend appropriate Odoo functionalities.
- Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) and train client teams and end users on Odoo usage.
- Prepare comprehensive documentation such as implementation guides, user manuals, and process documentation.
- Troubleshoot functional and basic technical issues.
- Coordinate with developers during integrations involving third-party platforms, APIs, payment gateways, eCommerce systems, and other applications.
- Support project estimation, planning, and delivery timelines.
- Provide post-implementation support and identify opportunities for further automation with existing clients.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with Odoo functional consulting and development.
- Strong experience with multiple Odoo modules, including but not limited to CRM, Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting/Invoicing, Manufacturing, Projects, Timesheets, Helpdesk, HR, Payroll, Website, eCommerce, Point of Sale, Field Service, Subscriptions, and Studio.
- Solid understanding of end-to-end business workflows such as Lead-to-Sale, Sale-to-Cash, Purchase-to-Pay, Inventory Management, Accounting, Manufacturing, and Service Management.
- Technical knowledge of Odoo architecture, module structure, and development basics including Python, XML, PostgreSQL, Odoo ORM, models, fields, views, actions, security groups, access rights, automated/server actions, QWeb reports, and REST APIs/external integrations.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
